The Medical Profession has witnessed profound changes during these years, and as a Billing Service, we have successfully negotiated these many changes. The future promises to significantly change current medical billing practices and introduces more complications and paper work. We have seen the emergence of computer billing, coding changes and the advent of the HMOs. What happens in the future is anybodyıs guess. Since the inception of our Company in 1992 we have witnessed the lessening of fees for our clients. Today most doctor's incomes have decreased by at least half. The way doctors' have attempted to keep up with the generally lower fee schedules are by increasing patient load and therefore working much longer hours. It is our experience that certain Insurance Companies increase denials when dividends are due in Wall Street. Many times physician's offices must spend hours of valuable time arguing with Insurance Companies and must complain to State Authorities. Maxxon addresses these and other problems.
